Basic digital literacy for elderly, project activities financially supported by City of Skopje

Starting form March 1st 2020, during the period of 10 months, RE2020 is implementing project activities
aiming at teaching basic digital skills to elderly.

Main focus is given to the process of social inclusion of elderly (aged 65+) in the modern digital society.

The specific goal that will be achieved through the implementation of the proposed activities is aimed
at increasing the percentage of elderly people with digital literacy. This will be achieved through the
implementation of activities for acquiring basic digital skills by specially trained mentors.

In this regards, RE2020′ team work hard to achieve the expected results, by:

1. Developing program for basic digital literacy for elderly
2. Establishing and training team of mentor to support elderly in the learning process
3. Purchasing and adapting technical equipment suitable for teaching elderly on basic digital skills
4. Implementing modules included in the Program by organizing workshops with elderly, with the support of trained mentor

In achieving the project results, RE2020 has signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Red Cross of RNM, Red Cross of City of Skopje.

Financial support received from City of Skopje for the implementation of 10 months’ project activities is 300.000 MKD.
