Awarded 150 certificates to participants in digital skills and online security training
150 elderly, members of the Associations of pensioners from Kumanovo, Gostivar, Struga, Veles, Bitola, Kavadarci Strumica and from the Day Center at the Red Cross of the City of Skopje, successfully completed the training and received certificates for active participation in the workshops for acquiring basic digital skills and secure online presence. In the period from October to December 2023, the trained mentors realized a total of 48 workshops and support elderly to acquire knowledge and skills on the following topics: – Basic concepts and movements – My VAT – Online bill payment – Electronic written communication: E-mail – Electronic voice communication – Skype, Viber, Zoom – Online search – Fun online activities – Secure devices – Safe Surfing – Safe on social networks – Safe online shopping and possible scams – Safe online The activities are implemented in the scope of the project “Together we are stronger in the digital world”, through the support program in the form of the EU Civil Resilience Mechanism (CRM), within the framework of the EU-funded project “Technical assistance to improve the enabling environment for civil society organizations in the Republic of North Macedonia”.
